Sydney After hours GP service is a medical deputising service based in Quakers Hill, Sydney.
Our mission is to be available to provide optimal care after hours to patients who need it most.
Our doctors are highly trained and can provide round the clock after hours service, once your regular GP service is closed.
We are not an emergency service. We aim to provide you home based service is less than 3 hours.
There could be delays on odd occassions due to peak times, which will communicated to you.
Our Doctors attend to patients in private homes, nursing homes, retirement villages and aged care facilities. We provide medical care to patients when the regular GP is unavailable in the after hours period.
To ensure ongoing patient care, a detailed patient report is sent back to your regular GP the following working day.
This service is only for non-life threatening conditions. If you feel your condition needs immediate attention or your life may be in danger, you must call an ambulance and seek emergency treatment.
If you have a problem you would like to discuss please feel free to talk to our office staff. We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. You may also send a written complaint to our Chief Executive Officer [Dr Manmit Madan, email@example.com] who will complete an appropriate investigation and inform the complainant of the outcome.

In the After Hours period you can phone for a home visiting doctor service that will visit you or a member of your family in your home. Some services offer bulk billing while others require a gap payment.

Yes. If you hold a Medicare or a Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) card your after hours home doctor visit requires a gap payment. There is also a gap fee for visiting overseas students if they are covered by health insurance from Allianz, Bupa or NIB. Patients that do not hold a Medicare or DVA card and are not overseas students covered by health insurance may still make an appointment with our after-hours service and pay a fee for the appointment.
